I’m trying out Katawa Shoujou since it’s the other free VN that people love to recommend. The writing is quite improved over DDLC and I like how there are animations and sound effects at certain points of the narrative which justifies the story to be told in this way instead of a book. It would be interesting if Nintendo ever ported some of the visual novels we enjoy here on PC.
Someone was clearly Namco High when they conjured up this idea – but given the intriguing end result, I’m not complaining. I will give you bonus points for the replay value though.
